The new Sky Go app will let you manage your Sky Q recordings on the go

If you like to watch your TV shows on the go, a new Sky Go app should make your life easier than ever. Sky's mobile TV viewing companion gets a big update, making Sky Q recordings easy on the go.

By bringing together the features of the existing Sky Q app and integrating them with the Sky Go app, you can now "view and control future series logs and links" on a new page. User interface.

The entire interface has been redesigned and the application is now divided into "one-touch destinations" called Home, TV Guide, Browse, Downloads, and Logs. The navigation panel contains the content of all the channels offered by Sky Go, broken down by topic and genre. And if you are a Sky Cinema viewer, you will now receive recommendations based on what you have seen before.

More accessible visibility

New accessibility features are also coming to the app, with voice-over descriptions of button functionality for the visually impaired, better font size controls, and the ability to "get started." Invert the UI colors for better contrast.

Please note some limitations: You must be a Sky Go Extra subscriber to download content in the app, while you must also be a Sky Q customer to access the recording features. If you are a Sky Mobile customer using the app, the shows and movies you can access will be limited depending on your subscription type.

Expect to see the app update rolled out to the iOS, Android, and Amazon Fire app stores, as well as on PCs and Macs, during the summer.
