Zack Snyder's Justice League Leaked Overnight by Mistake

The release of Zack Snyder's Justice League is right around the corner, but it seems some people just can't wait that long for it to arrive. Although the movie is scheduled for a March 18 release, some HBO Max users were able to catch part of the movie after it accidentally leaked ahead of schedule. It's equally puzzling, however, why he replaced Tom and Jerry. According to Variety, subscribers to the streamer managed to catch the first hour of the Snyder Cut on Monday night. Interestingly, users who logged into HBO Max to watch Tom and Jerry, the latest HBO Max movie release, were unexpectedly treated to the first quarter of the upcoming superhero movie. Several HBO Max viewers took to Twitter to post images and videos of the glaring bug, but Warner Bros. was quick to fix the issue. See Twitter user @gbral's tweet below for an example of the massive misstep:

Why did the Snyder Cut come out early?

It's unclear how Zack Snyder's Justice League leaked ahead of schedule. HBO Max may just be preparing to launch next week. As such, it's likely that the movie was uploaded to the streamer's servers before March 18 and someone accidentally hit the "stream" button nine days before its release. A WarnerMedia spokesperson told Variety that "Zack Snyder's Justice League was temporarily available on HBO Max and the bug was fixed within minutes." However, this official line is in stark contrast to viewer claims that it was available for over an hour. Fortunately for Warner Bros. and HBO Max, the resolution prevented anyone from being able to watch the full movie and potentially post spoilers online. We won't have to wait long for the arrival of Zack Snyder's Justice League, but be aware that there may now be minor spoilers doing the trick online. If you want to watch the Snyder Cut without any prior knowledge of new scenes, Easter eggs, or any other content, it might be worth keeping an eye out from now on.
