Binge's streaming app has finally landed on Samsung TVs

The Binge streaming service took massive steps toward compatibility and accessibility today, announcing the delivery of two long-sought user requests. First, the Binge app has finally landed on all 2017-2020 Samsung TVs, which means owners of compatible models can now cast the service to their big screen without the need for an additional Chromecast or Apple TV device. Until now, only certain TVs running on the Android TV platform were able to stream the Binge app natively. TVs from other brands, such as LG and Hisense, will unfortunately have to wait for now.

As for the other long-awaited feature film, Binge has announced the launch of subtitles on its service, which is sure to be cause for celebration for the hearing impaired. “I'm delighted that we are now offering closed captions on a wide range of our content, and the team is adding more and more captions every day,” said Alison Hurbert-Burns, CEO of Binge. We imagine that users of the service will be very happy with the two additions detailed above. Not a Binge subscriber? Click on the links below to start your free 14-day trial of the service.
