Jedi Star Wars: Fallen Order officially arrives on Steam, along with other EA titles

The rumors were true: EA games are finally back on Steam. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be EA's first game released on the Valve platform in six years, with pre-orders for the title now live on Steam.

And this is not the only EA title to hit the platform. The publisher has confirmed that titles such as Unravel Two, The Sims 4 and "other great titles" will appear on Steam in the coming months, with the big players FIFA 20, Apex Legends and Battlefield V on the way. all next year.

If that's not enough, Steam and Origin players can play together.

EA will bring not only its games to Steam, but also its premium game subscription service - EA Access.

There is no definitive release date for the release of EA Access on Steam, but the publisher has indicated that we could see it between March and June 2020.

EA Access provides subscribers with access to EA's extensive library of titles (known as the "Vault"), as well as additional incentives such as previews of the latest games and a 10% discount on EA Digital Purchases. To date, the service is only available through Origin on PC, as well as on PS4 and Xbox One.

EA Access on Steam will cost the same as on console: € 4.99 / AU € 3.99 / AU € 6.99 per month. Annual membership costs € 29.99 / AU € 19.99 / AU € 39.99.

EA's return to Steam could open the door for other publishers (with their own launchers) to sell their games on the platform as well, even if we can't hold our breath.
