YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium will now be available to users in India with new prepaid plans.
YouTube Premium came to India in March with YouTube Music. It offered streaming, background playback, offline video availability, and access to YouTube originals, all at a starting price of Rs 129 per month for Premium and Rs 99 per month. month for Music Premium.
Google India announced today that these services can now be purchased with new prepaid plans. These packages are available in a one-month or three-month configuration and can be activated to reap the full benefits of the paid subscription. If a user wants to extend their subscription, it is also possible to buy additional packages of 1 or 3 months.
Previously, if a user wanted to access these paid services, they would have to request a premium subscription and then pay recurring amounts at regular intervals to continue to benefit from these services. Prepaid options will be invited when someone decides to continue paying for YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium.

In particular, the prepaid package for one month is priced at Rs 139, or just Rs 10 more than the conventional subscription model and eliminates the need for a credit card and monthly billing.
Google hopes that these new payment methods will provide more flexibility to the Indian market, thus increasing the number of users. Music subscribers also have the option to upgrade to YouTube Premium.
