Facebook makes it easy to earn money with Online Reels

Meta has updated their professional mode settings to help their users monetize the content they create.

Some of the new features available now allow content creators to build an audience, improve SEO, and earn money through various programs on existing Facebook profiles.

With building an online presence in mind, the Facebook tool also includes enhanced analytics and wellness features to help users stay safe on the social media platform.

Professional mode for all creators

Meta started testing the pro mode in 2021 and is currently working on new formats for users to earn money for the reels they share. This includes testing ads on Facebook Reels in professional mode, as well as a new subscription model similar to YouTube.

Currently, US creators can apply to join a feature called "Reel Play" on Facebook, which is a bonus program that allows users to get paid for reels uploaded to the platform.

"Professional mode allows you to build a global following of followers, while staying connected with friends and family from your personal Facebook profile. When you post public content, you'll have access to features designed for you. Help get and engage new followers, that were previously only available in Pages,” Meta wrote in a blog post (opens in a new tab).

Professional mode creators also have access to a profile category directly on each individual's profile, which will allow user-created branding to appear under their name when people search Facebook.

Subscriptions are introduced and tested in professional mode to allow fans to increase their support for you and your work, and give you the opportunity to build deeper connections with your most loyal subscribers by sharing exclusive subscriber content.

In the same way that a website creation service (opens in a new tab) offers a dashboard to track the performance of a site, Meta has also introduced the "Professional Dashboard", a central platform that allows users to see audience and profile information, as well as the performance of content created and uploaded.

In addition, Meta updated its scheduling software - opens in a new tab, Post Composer, to allow its users to create a schedule to upload content.
