Sports streaming service ESPN+ will get a price hike on Wednesday, August 12, the first it has seen since its launch in April 2018. ESPN's dedicated subscription sports streaming service has long been praised for its affordability, as well as the breadth of its content, but the monthly subscription price is expected to increase by 20%. It sounds serious, but it just means that the price drops from €4,99 per month to €5,99 per month. No price increase guaranteed for one year
To appeal to as many people as possible now, ESPN+ says that all subscribers with an account before the price increase will continue to pay $4.99 per month through August 2021. While the ESPN+ monthly subscription is great for flexibility , the biggest savings come if you're happy to commit to an entire year. The cost of the annual plan will remain at €49,99.
