In an online survey of 3250 US consumers in December, the bank found that 680 were crypto users, 65% of whom had gotten into crypto for the first time in the previous 12 months. Not surprisingly, Deutsche found that most investors entered the space primarily to make money. However, 34% said their main motivation was curiosity or exploration, with a similar proportion citing portfolio diversification as the main reason.
