Everything changes for PS Plus. Sony's premium service has rebooted into a genuine competitor to Xbox Game Pass, giving subscribers a library of games to download on demand and stream to their console or PC.

The service is available in three levels: Essential, Extra and Premium. While Essential offers the same benefits as the current version of PS Plus, Extra offers members a host of PS4 and PS5 games to download. Meanwhile, Premium adds a list of retro games to dig into, as well as the ability to stream certain games, so you don't have to download every title you feel like diving into.

We've already taken a look at the PS Plus game library as it appears in Asian territories, though we expect it to be expanded for release in the US and Europe. There are plenty of notable AAA games, including Death Stranding, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Ghost of Tsushima, as well as a ton of beloved PS1 and PS2 classics.

The new and improved PS Plus will launch in the US on June 13 and in Europe on June 23.
