October is a big month on Disney Plus for Star Wars fans thanks to the highly anticipated premiere of The Mandalorian Season 2. Don't cancel all your plans just yet, as the first episode won't drop until the end of the month. It's also nice that there are other new additions to the service through the rest of October to keep you busy until you return to a galaxy far, far away. One of those additions is another Disney Plus original series: The Right Stuff. This drama, which follows the famous Mercury Seven astronauts and the debut of the American Space Race, will debut on October 9 with new episodes every week. Some fun movies have also been added, such as X2 and The Sorcerer's Apprentice, while the new Once Upon a Snowman short film will send us on an adventure with everyone's favorite sentient snowman: Olaf. UK subscribers will finally get the chance to stream Pixar's latest hit Onward, while exasperated kids and parents will be delighted that the UK service will become the new home for content from Disney Channel, DisneyXD and Disney Junior starting October 1. .
