The popular broker for crypto traders maintains its dollar peg with a combination of cash, cash equivalents, and US Treasury bills. There is just under 52 billion USDC in circulation at press time, according to Circle's website. USDC is the second largest stablecoin in the crypto market by issue size, behind only Tether's USDT.
