Ether and most other major cryptocurrencies were on the rise as well. The second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization followed a similar pattern to bitcoin and cost over €3,362 on Sunday, its highest level since early February. Solana, Cardano, and Avalanche, among other altcoins, were in the green. The popular meme coins, dogecoin and shiba inu, also saw gains.
