Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Gameplay Trailer Is Bloody As Hell

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Gameplay Trailer Is Bloody As Hell

Finally, we finally get to take a good look at Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 with an uncompromising gameplay trailer fit for the Emperor himself.

What immediately stands out about Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is how viscerally the title makes use of technological advances between console generations. That's because the first game was abandoned over ten years ago, so the violence here is truly splendid.

The environmental design also appears to have been significantly improved. We've never seen the Adeptus Astartes look so good, and that's reflected in the gunplay and melee as the bigwigs mow down waves of orcs. And yes, Jump Packs have made a triumphant return too!

This is just a small sample of what's been revealed so far at The Game Awards 2022. We've also seen Ken Levine's Judas as well as Death Stranding 2. It looks like 2023 is going to be really packed.

(*2*)Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Gameplay Trailer

We've waited over a decade for the next chapter in the Space Marine story, and what we see here of the gameplay really doesn't disappoint. There are warhammers, jump packs, swinging chainswords, and melee orcs to lay waste!

The real focus of what we see here seems to be the mobility of the Space Marines themselves. Everything seems less fake than it did in the first title, especially during a moment involving a Chain Ax and an orc's upper body being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Can't wait to get up close and personal with the hordes of the vast Warhammer 40,000 universe? You also have another option in the form of Darktide, which is also an equally unforgiving first-person shooter.
