Voting is now open for the 2019 Golden Joystick Awards

Voting for the 37th Golden Joystick Awards is now open on our sister publication GamesRadar.

The Golden Joystick Awards recognize the best video games of the year in various categories with a lavish ceremony.

This year's awards will take place on November 15 at Bloomsbury Big Top in London, with comedian Danny Wallace.

Votes will open this year in 17 different categories, including Most Wanted Games of the Year, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, PC, Indie, and Multiplayer, as well as the new categories: Best Gaming Gear and Best Game Development.

But who is running? Well, the open-world Indian mystery Outer Wilds has the most nominations, including Best Narrative and Best Visual Design, while Paranormal Control has four nominations, including Best Audio and Best Visual Design. .

Meanwhile, Metro Exodus, Observation, Days Gone, Tetris Effect, Sunless Skies, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate also feature numerous quotes.

Once again, there will be a one-week voting window dedicated to the last game of the year to be held at the end of the voting period. Voting for the last game of the year will open on October 25 and end on November 1.

Additionally, the Critics Choice Award winners will be announced overnight for the Critics' Choice Award, Breakthrough Award, Award for Overall Achievement, and Outstanding Contribution Award.
