Oppo Find N2 release date and price

According to well-known leaker Panda Is Bald(Opens in a new tab), in a Weibo post spotted by Playfuldroid(Opens in a new tab), the Oppo Find N2 and Oppo Find N2 Flip will be announced on December 15.

It's apparently a day after Oppo's annual Inno Day event kicks off, and the timing would make sense, as we've seen devices unveiled at this event in the past, not to mention the Oppo Find N. The company's original foldable was unveiled. in December. . 15 last year.

Additionally, Digital Chat Station, another reputable leaker, previously posted on Weibo (opens in a new tab) saying that these phones would land in mid-December. Therefore, December 15 seems very likely.

It should be noted, however, that this release might be for China only. There's no word on if and when we'll see these phones in other regions, though leaker @UniverseIce (opens in a new tab) has claimed that the Oppo Find N2 Flip will be available worldwide, while the Find N2 won't.

There's no word on what the Oppo Find N2 might cost, but the original Find N was priced at ¥7,699 (about $1,100 / £910 / AU$1,650), so it's possible the next model could be priced similar, although conversions are unlikely. Be specific though.

We have even less idea how much the Oppo Find N2 Flip might cost, but @UniverseIce says (opens in new tab) it won't cost more than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, which starts at $999.99 / £999 / AU$ 1,499.

Design and visualization of the Oppo Find N2

We know a lot more about the design of the Oppo Find N2 Flip than the standard Find N2, as renders and even a short hands-on video of the Flip have leaked.

First, the video was shared by Fenibook on Weibo (opens in a new tab), but you can see most of it in the GIF below, shared by leaker @UniverseIce (opens in a new pestaña).

The phone is clearly in a case here, so some details are hidden, but you can see a similar design to the Galaxy Z Flip 4, but with a larger cover screen. There also appears to be a dual-lens camera.

Do you want to see it without a case? Twitter user @yabhishekhd (Opens in a new tab) shared the image below, which shows the same design.

According to Digital Chat Station - opens in a new tab, the Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 3,26-inch OLED cover display, which would make it much larger than the 4-inch Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 1,9. It also apparently has a 6,8-inch foldable. 120Hz 120Hz OLED display, with a resolution of 1080 x 2520.

As for the standard Oppo Find N2, the same source in another post (opens in a new tab) claims that it has a 7,1-inch 120hz foldable display. In another post, they claim (opens in a new tab) that the resolution was 1792 x 1920 and the Find N2 had a 1080-inch 2120 x 5,54 cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Interestingly, they also say that Oppo has made a few units with a leather finish, but most versions currently use glass, so it's unclear if the leather version will ever retail.

It will also apparently weigh less than 240g, according to @UniverseIce (opens in a new tab), which is light for a foldable phone. For comparison, the original Oppo Find N weighs 275g, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 weighs 263ge, even the non-foldable iPhone 14 Pro Max weighs 240g.

Another source, calling itself "experience plus - opens in a new tab," got more specific, stating that it weighs 233g for the leather version and 237g for the glass model. They also claim that the Oppo Find N2 Flip weighs 191g.

Camera and battery Oppo Find N2

In posts spotted by Playfuldroid (Opens in a new tab), Digital Chat Station also shed some light on the Oppo Find N2's camera, saying it has a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with a wide field of view. 114-degree lens and a 32MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.

These are apparently the same cameras as the upcoming OnePlus 11, which is notable because foldable phones don't always match mainstream flagships when it comes to camera prowess.

The source adds that the Oppo Find N2 apparently has optical image stabilization (OIS) on its main lens and benefits from Hasselblad camera optimizations. The Find N2 also apparently has a 32MP selfie camera on each screen.

Meanwhile, the Oppo Find N2 Flip could have a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP front camera, according to Digital Chat Station in a separate Weibo post (opens in a new tab).

In the same article, they claim that the Oppo Find N2 Flip has a 4300mAh battery, which could be charged at 44W, while elsewhere they claim that the standard Find N2 has 4520mAh, which according to another source offers a charge of 67 W. (opens in a new tab).

Oppo Find N2 Specs and Features

The Oppo Find N2 has a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, according to Digital Chat Station, which is the best Android chipset of 2022 (aside from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which hardly uses anything). They also say it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and will run Android 13, with Oppo's ColorOS 13 interface on top.

A leaker also posted screenshots (opens in a new tab) apparently of the phone, showing 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Elsewhere, a 'more experience' post on Weibo claims that the phone's Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset will be under-clocked (opens in a new tab), so it could be a little less powerful than expected. normal.

As for the Oppo Find N2 Flip, it is also expected to run Android 13 on top of ColorOS 13 and have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, but other specifications may differ. It is said to have a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset as per "experience plus" in the same post above.

Some sites also report a Dimensity 9200 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, but it's unclear where those specs come from. Either way, these are on their way to ranking among the best foldable phones.
