IFA 2019 officially started. Many brands are starting to sell their new merchandise so you won't be speechless. Europe's largest tech show is the place each year to learn more about 4K (or even 8K) TVs, phones, wearable devices, headsets and devices that will change the world in the next 12 months.
Yes, it's a bit like CES, the annual tech show that takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada, but while the two shows are similar, IFA is home to major European launches, which traditionally means a profusion of televisions. from like Philips, Samsung, LG, Hisense and Panasonic.
Although we are not competing with the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February for phone launches, we are also expecting good news from some of the major smartphone manufacturers.

We keep our ears to the ground and have all the information you need on the best brands at IFA 2019, so take a look at the sections below to find out everything that comes from each manufacturer.
Samsung
The IFA once represented a great phone show for Samsung - literally, this is where the company first introduced its extensive range of Note smartphones. This won't be the case for 2019 because the company has already unveiled its Note 10, Note 10 Plus, Watch Active 2, and Galaxy Tab S6 during its own show in early August.
However, Samsung could use the IFA 2019 event to lift the lid on the Samsung Galaxy Fold. A new report from a Korean media suggests that Samsung has chosen September 6 for an official announcement. It is the same date that the largest European fair is held in Berlin. We are not surprised that Samsung chose to use IFA 2019 as a launch pad.
But Samsung isn't limited to phones, you can also expect Samsung to focus on its blindingly colorful QLED TVs.
Like LG, Samsung participates in many consumer media. So if you're looking for a washing machine or a new connected fridge and freezer, wait until you see what the IFA 2019 press conference has to offer.

Sony
Breaking News: We hear teased about a new Sony Xperia Compact phone, but will Sony really provide it?
The IFA tends to be a big show for Sony, which has historically launched smartphones. The Xperia Z3 was introduced in previous years, so many people believe that IFA 2019 will probably inaugurate the Xperia 2 (based on the Xperia 21 9: 1 report released in early 2019). We may also see mid-range devices as well.
In 2018, it also took advantage of the show to launch the FES Watch U wearable apparel. There's a chance we'll see more wearables this year, or at least some intriguing concepts.
Of course, Sony will also offer a lot of OLED games with Android TV. But what are we really excited about? We look forward to following up on the Sony WH-1000XM3 noise canceling headphones, which were unveiled at the show last year.

In previous years, Dell and Alienware were really wild cards at IFA. If there's one area that could make headlines, it would be on their gaming hardware, so watch out for the Alienware material coming out of the series.

Wearable technologies continue to be very well presented at IFA and Fossil often announces new watches. Could the Fossil Sport 2 appear? If not, expect other brands, like Michael Kors or Diesel, to fill this watch-shaped space around your wrist.
Garmin
As with Fossil, Garmin likes to play IFA with a range of sports-oriented sportswear. But this year the situation is slightly different, after the start of a series of busy announcements. Expect to see variants of existing Garmin lines, rather than new features.
For example, we already know that Garmin is preparing six new smartwatches for launch in the coming months, according to a recent leak, and that this line should include the Vivoactive 4 and Vivomove Style models.
The leak comes from WinFuture, which also included images of the six new products.
There's also the new Garmin Venu, which appears to be a high-end watch with a 43mm case and compatible with Spotify and Deezer. It will provide activity tracking for runners, cyclists, and swimmers with onboard GPS, not to mention Garmin Pay.
HP
The Houston-based computer maker generally isn't very successful at IFA, preferring Computex or CES rooms. We got to see a new product or two launched at the show, but not much more than that. Strange things have happened.

Hisense
With its first range of OLED TVs finally available in stores, Hisense will double down on its technology at IFA 2019. Its current high-end OLED TV has a high asking price, but it lacks some of the more premium features proposed by its competitors.
Although the brand tends to turn to the cheap and affordable market, we hope to see at least one prestigious package that targets more luxurious features at a more affordable price.
This could come in the form of a sonic screen laser television, which a revealed Hisense press release will announce at IFA.
According to the announcement, the television will focus on synchronization of sound and picture: "The Hisense sonic display television transmits sound (40-18 kHz) directly from the screen, the speaker diaphragm. Last year, Huawei registered its long-awaited Mate 20/20 Pro launch after IFA, but introduced the range with the Mate 20 Lite in Berlin. We could see something similar here, with a mid-range phone released, perhaps under the name Mate 30. You probably won't see a flagship release though, the company now favors its own personal shows.
The company is also interested in smart speaker technology, as its AI Cube is both an audio device and a 4G router. Could a 5G upgrade be on the cards?
We also got to see Huawei launch a new MateBook during the tech event. Its laptops, like the Huawei MateBook 14, are among our favorite laptops. Therefore, we are eager to see other computer products from the company.
Intel
Intel will be present at IFA 2019. The competition against AMD is tougher than before, so we expect them to become relatively big at IFA. We think Intel could have XNUMXth Gen Comet Lake processors to showcase, as well as project Athena laptops.

Lenovo
The company behind Motorola laptops and phones has hosted a major evening event titled "Tech Life", scheduled for IFA 2019, which will host numerous product launches. More Lenovo flagship products for 2019 are likely to be featured here, including the new Yoga and ThinkPad devices.
However, Lenovo has already introduced many new devices, including updated versions of the ThinkPad line, as well as Chromebooks, tablets, desktops, and monitors. Although IFA 2019 is a good opportunity for us to have all these new technologies in our hands.

Television and home theater technologies will undoubtedly be the main attractions of LG's exhibition at LG's IFA, as the company (as the only real technology maker) continues to rave about its OLED television technologies.
We already know that their new range of CineBeam 4K projectors is about to be unveiled at IFA and a release for European markets (which likely includes the UK) is scheduled for September.
The range will include LG's first ultra-short throw projector, called the CineBeam Laser (HU85L). This project can display a 90-inch image along a wall just two inches away and a 120-inch image at seven inches. With 2.500 lumens brightness, 4K resolution, and HDR support, it's a high-end projector offering designed to appease home theater enthusiasts who don't want to see the light. 39, a 75-inch (or larger) large-format TV that takes up space in your living room.

Motorola
Lenovo's phone branch has become a hope for those looking for high-end smartphone features on a budget. Moto usually has a phone or two to show off at IFA - in 2018 we had the Motorola One, a respectable mid-range device, for example. Although it is unlikely that a new flagship product will be created in Berlin, it is certain that more mid-level people are likely to forecast if past exhibitions are not lacking.
A series of leaks alluded to the different phones that could be launched at IFA 2019, including the Motorola One Zoom. According to a new leak, the quad rear camera could receive a 5x hybrid telephoto lens and a time-of-flight sensor that measures depth.
Nokia
Today, phones are smarter and better than ever. However, if you go back to the early days of phones and want to simplify things a bit, Nokia can help.
The brand's iconic 3310 phone was a favorite of people who owned a phone 19 years ago. It was simple. You had calls, you had texts, you had Snake and that was pretty much it.
According to rumors, Nokia could reissue the 3310. Of course, none of this is official, but many Nokia fans have read texts from Juho Sarvikas, director of product at HMD Global.
Philips
The European arm of the Philips TV division (read: better) may not appear at CES, we expect great things from the brand at IFA 2019. The manufacturer now has time to shine and we await an eye-catching new OLED Ambilight's flagship product will be launched at the fair.

We weren't sure what to expect from gaming equipment company Razer at this year's IFA Technical Conference. But now, the brand has launched a "first world", which has made a name for itself.
A tweet from the brand's Twitter account revealed the "world premiere" with an image referencing the Razer gaming laptop. Does this mean there is another laptop on the cards? And if so, what would make it a "world premiere"? We can't think of the kind of wearable tech that hasn't been made yet, which means we're expecting a surprise.
