Surface Event 2019: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Which is probably the beginning of several new hardware products from Microsoft
Where is that? New York, NY
When is October 2, 2019
Can I get tickets? No, it is a press point.

Microsoft officially released press invitations for an event held on October 2 in New York. Although the company did not hint at what it intended to show during this event, many leaks and rumors have confirmed in recent months that the imminent launch of some of the main Surface products was imminent.

With the Surface Pro 7, Surface Laptop 3, and a new product, "Centaurus," featured in all sorts of leaks and rumors from anonymous sources, we expect a potentially impressive showing.

Then there are the existing product lines that we'd like to see updated, like the promising Surface Book 3 and Surface Studio 3. However, we haven't heard much about these particular devices.

On that, here are the highlights of each Surface product that we expect to see at Microsoft's event on October 2, in order of likelihood of their appearance.

What we're likely to see: Surface Pro 7

Now, with leaks and rumors detailing the exact configurations of the Microsoft Surface Pro 7, it's almost certainly a boost for the October 2 event. Now we hope to see an even more affordable option for the tablet in the form of an option that contains an Intel Core i3 processor (CPU).

We don't know if Microsoft eventually adopted USB-C, especially Thunderbolt 3, instead of the proprietary Surface Connect port. We also expect to see Intel Ice Lake processors and better coverage. Both were rumored.

What We're Likely To See: Surface 3 Laptop

Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 is almost the only other Surface Surface device to be discussed over rumors and leaks, with not one, but two configurations available. That's right, according to rumors, a 15-inch version would join the 13-inch model.

But that's not all: European retailers have suggested that the Surface Laptop 3 will use AMD processors instead of Intel processors. However, we are more concerned if Microsoft is embracing Thunderbolt 3 ports here. Also, the design could be slightly updated.

What we hope to see: Surface Book 3

The world of computing has changed a lot since the launch of Surface Book 2, making the launch of a Microsoft Surface Book 3 in 2019 even more important. Both versions of the program have been updated. The 2-in-1 laptop could take advantage of Nvidia's new RTX graphics. a start.

Although we haven't heard much about rumors or leaks regarding the third Surface Book, an update is expected due to the huge profits made by its "general public" competitor. Of course, we'd like to see Thunderbolt 3 included, as well as more efficient power management with these improved RTX graphics.

Surface Studio 2

What we hope to see: Surface Studio 3

Again, we haven't heard anything about a version of Microsoft Surface Studio 3, but this is another highly anticipated update that we hope to see on October 2. That said, we are quite happy with the artist's all-in-one desktop design. .

What we want is for the product to launch with updated internals, especially the latest Intel Nvidia processors and graphics. In recent years, this has not been the case at launch. Finally, can you already give us Thunderbolt 3 and resolution?

What we hope to see: Surface 'Centaurus'

There have been quite a few patent posts and rumors about a new Microsoft Surface product with either two screens or a single folding screen. Different patent and rumor images evoke Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 foldable tablet.

Of course, we know very little about how to integrate this device into Microsoft's larger portfolio and the specific or unique use cases it will serve. Will it be a foldable phone that meets a tablet? We can't wait to see if we will find out on October 2nd.
