Wireless noise canceling headphones typically want to separate you from the outside world, immersing you in a vivid soundstage that brings audio to life; that's not the case with Creative's latest pair of headphones.

The aptly named Sensemore Air true wireless earbuds still feature active noise cancellation (ANC) that works just like the tech in the best noise-cancelling headphones to block out outside distractions. But when you need better situational awareness or want to have a conversation without having to stick your head out, you can fall back on its Sensemore mode.

Sensemore mode is similar to the ambient mode that many noise-canceling headphones and earphones have begun to use. However, instead of simply turning off ANC and turning down the music volume, Sensemore mode amplifies external audio to help users pick up quieter sounds that may have been missed with a normal ambient mode.

If you're looking for a pair of headphones to travel with, these may be just what you need, allowing you to relax to your favorite tunes, but also keep you aware of your surroundings when you're catching the train, catching a bus, or walking home.

Aside from this useful-looking feature, the Sensmore Air earphones look like a fairly typical pair of wireless earbuds. They come with a charging case that can restore up to two hours of charge to the earbuds in 10 minutes, and help extend battery life from around 10 hours to a maximum of around 35 hours (although usage features like Sensmore mode and ANC will probably reduce these times).

They're IPX5 certified, which means they're sweat resistant, making them a useful companion for your next workout and possibly one of the best workout headphones out there. However, if your fitness regimen includes a dip in the pool, you'll want to use Sensemorer Air buds first.

They also feature touch controls that you can customize in the Creative app, where you can also make changes to the equalizer to create a soundstage to suit your tastes. That said, even with the best wireless earphones, we'd expect bass performance to be a bit lacking no matter how tight you adjust them - the smallest drivers in earphones often can't deliver the punch needed for truly exciting sound. . .

The Sensemore Air earphones are pretty cheap, at $79.99 / £64.99 (around AU$130), so even without one of the upcoming Black Friday deals, this could be an affordable yet reliable pair to buy.

We haven't had a chance to try out the Sensemore Air true wireless earbuds ourselves, so we'd recommend doing a little more research before picking up a pair from Creative's online store (opens in a new pestaña). Pero if you want a par de auriculares sólidos que le permitan tener una buena idea de lo que sucede su alrededor cuando los necesite, esta podría ser una excellent option.
