As part of its WWDC 2022 keynote, Apple announced changes to Messages on iPhone with iOS 16 that should end the embarrassment of texting with typos.

The three incoming features are message editing and undoing and the ability to mark a conversation as unread.

The new edit feature will let you correct mistakes even after you hit send, while undo will let you delete a message you sent by accident.

So whether you misspelled a friend's name or sent a message meant for someone else, now you can correct your mistakes as soon as you spot them.

Other new features include the ability to mark a conversation for return, so if you've opened a message but need to hurry to deal with something else before replying, you can mark it as unread to be reminded to reply later. .

All of these updates will be rolled out as part of the upcoming iOS 16 update for iPhone devices.
