So far, 2022 has been a great year for phones. We've seen the Samsung Galaxy S22 range, for example, with a radically different Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra, while Apple released a host of phones, including the notchless iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Now we're nearing the end of the year, and major releases can be rare, but we hope things pick up in early 2023.

That's why we've listed all the most anticipated combinations of 2022 below, as well as the ones you can expect in 2023. These are phones that, in most cases, are likely to be great, and all the least should be interesting, unusual or innovative. .

The Samsung Galaxy S23 and its brothers and sisters, including the Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra, will probably be the most popular Android flagships of 2023, and we expect to see them at the beginning of the year, probably in February.

Leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra could have a monster 200MP camera, and that every S23 model will use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset worldwide, rather than certain regions getting an exynos.

We still haven't heard much more at the moment from the editorial team, but expect the rumors to intensify as we get closer to launch.

The Google Pixel 7 was only released until October 2022, but both it and the Pixel 7 Pro were so good that we can't wait to see what Google has in store for the Pixel 8.

So far, we haven't heard much about this phone, except that it will likely use a Tensor 3 chipset and support satellite communications, but we expect generally powerful state-of-the-art cameras and software.

Listen in for more, because the leaks and rumors will certainly start surfacing in larger numbers as we get closer to the phone's launch.

The Google Pixel Fold is a phone we've heard about for years, and more recently, we've heard that it could land in late 2022. That said, a 2023 launch now seems more likely.

From what we've heard so far, the Google Pixel Fold may have a foldable 7,6-inch OLED display, a 5,8-inch manta display, and the same Tensor chipset as the Pixel 6 range. the image above, which, according to sources, shows the design of the Pixel Fold.

We'd take all of this with a pinch of salt right now, but it could end up being one of the few non-Samsung foldable phones that deserves to be enthusiastic.

iPhone 15Ultra

Clearly the entire iPhone 15 range is highly anticipated, but it's the intriguing pitch of an iPhone 15 ultra that excites us the most.

This phone could land in place of an iPhone 15 Pro Max according to rumors, and it could have better cameras than even the iPhone 15 Pro, with an emphasis on battery life and a very high price.

This probably won't launch before September 2023 if it comes, but it's a phone you might want to save up for.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 should be Samsung's next foldable flagship, but we don't expect to see it before August 2023, so there's a bit of time left to wait.

As such, we don't know much yet, but a first leak indicates that it uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which will necessarily be powerful, and that it has similar cameras to the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

If nothing else, expect it to have a large folding screen so it can serve as a tablet, associated with an equally high price tag.

The Sony Xperia I IV was one of the most interesting phones of 2022 thanks, among other things, to a camera with continuous optical zoom. This is a feature you won't find on other brands and has helped make Sony's flagship product stand out from the crowd.

So far, we haven't really heard of the Xperia 1 V, but we expect it to offer equally unusual cameras, as well as a large screen and flagship power, with, we hope, new innovative surprises. To be monitored around 2023.

Xiaomi 13 Pro

The Xiaomi 13 Pro could be among the best camera phones of 2023, as leaks suggest that it will have a 1-inch camera sensor.

It's larger than the sensors used in the vast majority of phones and could lead to superior shots.

Beyond that, the Xiaomi 13 PRO would have a trio of 50MP cameras on the rear, including wide, ultra-wide, and phone cameras. It is said to have a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, a 4.800mAh battery with 120W charging, and a 2-inch 6,7K display.

So it could have impressive specs as per the table. Look for this phone in late 2022 or early 2023.
