Prime Day Apple Watch deals are particularly good for series 3 and 6

If you've been eagerly awaiting Prime Day deals to bring the price of Apple Watch smartwatches down to something that isn't insanely expensive, then you're in luck because it's finally happened.

We're not seeing huge savings across the board for Prime Day Apple Watch deals, but there are two models associated with them: the Apple Watch 3 and the Apple Watch 6. In the US and UK, these are the best models for low prices.

Why the third- and sixth-generation Apple Watches in particular? We have no idea, but who are we to question the unknowable plan of Prime Day deals. It is what it is.

In fact, one of the best Apple Watch deals we've seen isn't from Amazon at all, but offers from Walmart's "Shmime Shmay" competitor (not what they're actually called). Obviously, this is just in the US; in the UK, Amazon is holding all the cards.

Save £60: The Apple Watch 6 is Apple’s latest premium smartwatch, and this new price is £30 cheaper than we’ve seen before. Until the Series 7 model launches later in 2021, it’s the best smartwatch from the company you can buy – and probably the best deal for a while, too.

The Apple Watch 3 is now three years old, but Apple has kept it as a legacy smartwatch that keeps dropping in price. It won't have all the features of Apple's latest smartwatches, but some people don't need all the advanced technology.

However, if you want the newest of the new, the Apple Watch 6 has also seen a significant price drop. It was launched in late 2020, and this is the first time we've seen substantial reductions in its price – well, substantial ones for Apple, at least.
