I bought a 3LT (Three Legged Things) with the smallest ball head they offered - it weighs 18kg so I thought it would be strong enough to hold my camera but it wasn't. This is clearly not the case, and me rating the ball joint as 18kg is completely hypocritical in my opinion. I feel like I was deliberately tricked into buying this tripod and it left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I know they are not the only company doing this. I quite like the legs, and for a relatively light travel tripod I'm happy with them, but the head leaves a lot to be desired. I became very interested in them because their marketing campaign was so intense that they had to spend money on it. I regret my purchase but hey ho, you live and you learn.

It is even more difficult to accept that many of the educational challenges we faced in the early 1980s still exist today. Tripod: A Brief History TRIPOD was founded in 1982 by Megan Williams, a mother of two young children, deaf and hearing, to meet the complex educational needs of deaf children and their families. Inspired by her own family's experience, Megan developed the concept of a holistic learning environment where communication was no longer a barrier. The children's father, film producer Michael Shamberg, enlisted Hollywood's help in making this vision a reality. Millisecond. Williams is a former television journalist who was an avid volunteer. He produced Language Says It All, a film for parents and educators of deaf children. Got this cheap chunky guy. I basically got it so I could point it at the ceiling and watch cartoons in bed like the lazy bum that I am. Because the ports were on the back of the projector (on the other side of the lens), I couldn't easily stand the projector upright to project on the ceiling. My projector is also inflated, so the tripod needs to be folded so the thick sides of the projector don't obstruct it. Biography: In recent years, Tripod has grown from a musical comedy act to a classic comedy trio. Gatesy, Scod and Yon (the cute, the geeky and the weird) sold out big venues at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and Adelaide Fringe and made their sold-out Sydney Opera House debut just before Christmas. Tripod started its journey about 10 years ago. Their big break came when they were given a regular radio spot on Triple J's breakfast show. Here they were given an hour to write a song based on the words and themes given to them by their hosts, on the show. triple J., were Wil Anderson and Adam Spencer.
