Dell Announces New Laptops for Developers and Small Businesses

At this year's IFA conference in Berlin, Dell announced a number of new laptops, as well as an update to the beloved XPS 13.

The updated version of the XPS 13 now includes Intel's 13th generation Core Core U processor in the same form factor used to help the device maintain its position as the largest XNUMX-inch laptop in its class.

Connectivity will also be enhanced with the new Intel Killer AX6 (1650x2) WiFi 2 chipset, which will provide three times faster wireless connectivity than the previous generation.

The 13th generation XPS 18.04 Developer Edition will have the same internals, but since the device is for developers, it will have the Ubuntu 13 LTS operating system, while the XPS 10 standard will use Windows XNUMX.

Vostro 14 and 15 5000

Small businesses need a reliable, secure, and reasonably priced laptop. That's why Dell also announced that its new Vostro 14 and 15 5000 series laptops meet your needs.

The company's new Vostro laptops allow users to tackle more demanding tasks with discrete Nvidia GeForce MX 250 graphics. In terms of security, a TPM 2.0 security chip and an optional fingerprint reader to protect data in motion.

Dell also made the decision to include its Dell Mobile Connect software so mobile workers can connect their smartphones to their PCs for greater efficiency.

In addition to its new Vostro laptops, Dell introduced its first 5000 series high-performance desktop for small businesses. It enables content creators, game developers, and engineers to have the power, graphics, and storage they need to move forward.

The Vostro 14 and 15 5000 series laptops are available now, while the updated XPS 13 will be available later this month.
