(*14*) iPhone 14 expected to launch alongside (*14*) new Apple Watch, iPad and AirPods Pro 2

Apple usually releases a bunch of new products at the end of each year, but it looks like (*14*) iPhone 14 could get more than its fair share of companion devices, according to one big name in Apple leaks.

This comes from Mark Gurman, in his weekly Power On newsletter (opens in a new tab) on upcoming Apple news and rumors. Gurman mentions many products that are expected to launch "between (*14*) Fall 2022 and the first half of 2023," or (*14*) Apple's peak period.

Chief among them is (*14*) iPhone 14, with Gurman saying there will be four models; we've heard it many times before the leaks, with the expected lineup consisting of the (*14*) standard model, as well as an iPhone 14 Max, Pro, and Pro Max.

Most of the other information provided about the upcoming iPhone Pro models are things we've heard before, like their always-on display, high-resolution rear camera, and improved front-facing camera, but the non-Pro versions are supposed to be more weak. .

Next up is (*14*) AirPods Pro 2, though all Gurman says is "I'm still waiting for new AirPods Pro earphones with an updated chip and better sound support," so there's not much information on that.

Apple is supposed to release new iPad Pros by 2022 that come with the new M2 chipsets: Gurman says there will be 11-inch and 12,9-inch versions, but responds to rumors of a larger 14-inch by saying it could be coming ( *14*) next year or so.

That's not all at the iPad party, as a new entry-level iPad (2022) comes with 5G, a new chipset, and a USB-C port; that's all we've already heard.

As the (*14*) title suggests, more smartwatches are also expected, and it's not just (*14*) the high-end Apple Watch 8 (although few changes are expected for this device).

No, a new Apple Watch SE 2 has been announced, along with a rugged version of the standard model aimed at extreme sports users.

Gurman also lists many new Macs that ship with multiple versions of the M2 chipsets, with MacBooks and Mac Minis expected.

Finally, Gurman points to a "mixed reality" headset that uses the (*14*) M2 chip and 16GB of RAM, something fans were hoping to hear at WWDC 2022 (an annual Apple mid-year tech release) that never debuted.

(*2*)Analysis: A big iPhone 14 release?

Let's recap what we just heard:

Apple usually has a big launch event at the end of each year, usually around September, and we usually see loads of products appearing at once.

But given how long this list is, there's no way they're all going to show up to an event, unless they get five seconds of screen time each and Eminem has to make (*14*) announcement, so probably They will be present at various events.

It's not a complete surprise: In 2020, the company held two launch events, one for the iPad and Apple Watch, and one for the iPhone. Apple will likely have to repeat this in 2022 for all of the aforementioned products, or even have a third release. Gurman says that some of the devices could arrive as early as 2023.

Either way, if there's an iPhone 14 launch event and Gurman's projections don't come true, that doesn't necessarily mean those devices aren't coming.
